Overview:

Trellis Foundation is a public charitable organization dedicated to increasing postsecondary attainment for low-income and historically underserved students. To support its mission and amplify its reach, the Foundation needed a powerful way to show how grant funding transforms not just individual lives—but entire communities.

 

The Challenge:

Craft a campaign that:

  • Tells the student stories behind Trellis Foundation’s impact

  • Inspires action and trust among stakeholders, donors, and policymakers

  • Demonstrates the ripple effect of educational funding on families and communities

  • Can be used in live settings and outreach efforts to drive engagement

 

The Solution:

We produced a series of documentary-style videos spotlighting students who directly benefited from Trellis Foundation grants. Each story highlighted the challenges they overcame, the support they received, and the broader impact of their educational journey.​

 

Creative Elements Included:

  • On-location filming with real grant recipients and community members

  • Personal, narrative-driven storytelling techniques

  • Cinematic visuals paired with branded motion graphics

  • Versions optimized for live events, social media, and web​
