The FEMA App is a vital resource that provides real-time emergency alerts, preparedness guidance, and recovery support directly to users’ mobile devices. Promoting the app is critical to FEMA’s mission of protecting the public before, during, and after disasters—by making timely, trusted information universally accessible.

As Creative Director, I led the creative strategy and development of promotional materials designed to position the FEMA App as an essential tool for disaster readiness. My intent was to increase public trust and adoption by emphasizing clarity, relevance, and ease of use—particularly for audiences most vulnerable to disasters, including non-English speakers, low-income communities, and people with disabilities. Through inclusive visuals, human-centered messaging, and multi-platform outreach, the campaign expanded awareness and helped ensure more people had life-saving information right in their hands.
