The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) plays a critical role in helping people before, during, and after disasters. Its brand stands for trust, leadership, and decisive action—qualities that must be communicated with clarity and consistency to the public, partners, and stakeholders at every touchpoint.
As Creative Director, I helped shape and evolve FEMA’s visual identity and strategic communications to reflect the agency’s mission with authority and empathy. My intent was to unify FEMA’s voice across all platforms—ensuring that emergency information felt both credible and compassionate. Through disaster response campaigns, long-term resilience messaging, and enterprise-wide design systems, I led creative efforts that increased public confidence, improved information accessibility, and aligned internal teams around a cohesive, human-centered brand.
