Making emergency preparedness clear, inclusive, and actionable for all communities
Ready.gov is the national public service campaign developed to educate and empower the American public to prepare for, respond to, and recover from emergencies. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, the campaign delivers trusted, easy-to-understand guidance to help individuals, families, and communities stay safe before, during, and after disasters.
As Creative Director, I led the visual strategy, brand identity, and integrated campaigns with a clear intent: to ensure emergency preparedness messaging was accessible, culturally inclusive, and emotionally resonant across all segments of the U.S. population. This included designing content that met the needs of historically underserved communities, multilingual households, and people with disabilities. Through strategic storytelling, cross-channel design systems, and national awareness initiatives, my work helped Ready.gov engage diverse audiences with clarity, consistency, and confidence-building creativity.
